Medical Imaging Technologist (Radiographer)

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain workplace safety, including radiation safety, infection control, and room readiness.
• Perform imaging tasks specific to modalities such as X-ray, Mammography, CT, and MRI.
• Prepare and manage patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate positioning and care.
• Acquire and assess image quality while adhering to quality control and assurance protocols.
• Manage image transmission, data handling, and compliance with confidentiality standards.
• Document and report imaging findings accurately while supporting radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and utilize remote communication tools.
• Handle administrative duties such as patient data management, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
• Pursue ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on advancements in medical imaging.

Specification

• B. Med. Tech.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and imaging technologies.
• Strong technical expertise in operating imaging equipment and ensuring quality results.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
